The Evolutionary Dynamics of Religion, Family Size, and Child Success

View the project’s main page here.

This project, led by Professors John Shaver, Mary Shenk, Rebecca Sear, and Richard Sosis, is collecting data from mothers at five diverse locations (India, Malawi, The Gambia, US, and Bangladesh) to understand the relationship between religion and family dynamics.

My contributions to the project primarily include model building, hypothesis testing, and descriptive statistics. I am especially interested in reciprocal relationships, and social network sizes among mothers.
